Temple & Family History Leader & Consultant Group Meeting

Time for Tacoma and Lakewood Stake Ward Temple & Family History Teams to come together or send a representative to talk with each other about what's going well and what to improve and to talk to other groups, build stronger ward programs, plans. African American Family History Focus Group

Meeting in person with short instruction then time on the Center's 14+ computers to research with support for all who are interested in researching or supporting those who research African American ancestors. The Center is open during the event, bring a laptop or a phone and any info to start. This group has been meeting monthly for several years at the Tacoma FamilySearch Center. This meeting is live in person only, not a zoom meeting.
Connected My Town Tacoma

This group creates a Community Outreach model involving new people in Family History without logins and accounts. We welcome volunteers of all ability ranges interested in participating in Community Outreach, a wonderful new tech project that is easy and well liked, is locally connected and fun, and a couple of people who enjoy easy research and organization.
