Learn the basics of using FamilySearch and Ancestry to find your ancestors. You will learn how to use FamilySearch's research Tools. We will use the Research Wiki to discover which records exist for your family’s hometown and how to use the FamilySearch Catalog to find specific digital documents. We will also practice simple search techniques on both websites to help you find names, dates, & historical records with confidence. Come prepared to search for an ancestor and where they lived.
