This 2-part workshop is designed to equip prospective missionaries with the doctrinal & practical tools needed for the mission field. Part 1 focuses on the spiritual foundation of gathering Israel on both sides of the veil, emphasizing the critical link between family history & convert retention. During this session, students will get a brief tour of FamilySearch and complete their mandatory pre-MTC requirements, including Church Account verification & the completion of their 4 generations chart

Part 2 focuses on the spiritual power of missionary finding & retention through the FamilySearch Tree app. Prospective missionaries will gain hands-on experience with digital discovery tools to create instant spiritual connections & friends of the Church beg invite the Spirit of Elijah. This session includes interactive role-playing to practice transitioning heritage-based conversations into gospel invitations, alongside training on the Family Name Assist tool to help new converts & friends.
