Upcoming classes

African American Family History Focus Group
January 21, 2025 | 18:30
Focus Group works together to do African American Family Research using the group's skills and the Tacoma FamilySearch Center's volunteer Support and computers. Short meeting at 6:30pm, then 7pm - 8pm we work on the computers on our research and help each other. Great group. All are welcome to Research their own families or help others to research. This group provides suggestions to the African American Family History Event Planning Group, too.
Connected "My Town" Tacoma Project Planning Group
February 26, 2025 | 19:00
This group plans Family History Community Outreach using the "My Town" model, encouraging those new to Family History Research to see if their grandparents are related to famous pioneers families of the Puget Sound Region within 2 minutes at Community Functions without having an account or logging in to FamilySearch. This group needs volunteers to meet with the public and to do light research to prepare the "Connected My Town Tacoma/Puget Sound Model" It's fun!
